Our shop in Island Street, Salcombe opens its doors from the May bank holiday week end, up until the damp starts creeping in at the end of September. During the winter our cosy little shop reverts back to a boat house.
Island Street is the full of character and is the old part of town where all the shipwrights hang out. Over recent years this area has become more and more popular with visitors and locals alike. With easy parking nearby it is now the main entry to pedestrians visiting Salcombe.
There have been a lot of changes in the last few years, the removal of some of the older buildings and the arrival of Hanafords Landing.(home to the Oyster Shack, Salcombe Embroidery and Coast and Country Cottages.) we also have a DIY store , Travel lite laundry service and a photographic studio opposite our shop.
We stock a small selection of all our ranges in Pine, Painted Pine, Oak and Ash furniture.
Our furniture range is complimented by the following items:
French shabby chic quilts
an assortment of sumptuous soft furnishings. Basket ware
Reclaimed Oak lamps with rustic raffia shades.
Salvaged Pine mirrors,(made to measure available)
buntings and beach huts.
Fabric hearts and door stops.
Locally made Sea shell mobiles,
